Description
Spray polyester filler creates a perfectly smooth surface, even on large vertical pannels.Ideal for for filling scratches left from application of polyester putties. Requires addition of thinner.

- Isolates very well primer and top coats from polyester body filler and putties.
Substrates
The product has very good adhesion to various surfaces. It can be applied over:
- Steel and aluminum after flatting and degreasing.
- Sanded glass fibre (GFK/GRP), polyester putties, acrylic and epoxy primers and old paitn coatings in good condition.
Caution:
Do not apply polyester spray fillers directly on the reactive primers, 1K acrylic and nitrocellulose products.

Use
For filling small scratches in car bddy repairs and isolate acrylic coatings from polyester putties.
Mixing ratio by weight
Spray filler: 100
Hardener: 4,5
Thinner max 10%
Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
Spraying viscosity
50 (+/-5) seconds at 20°C
Pot life
20 (+/-3) minutes at 20°C.
Number of layers
1÷3 layers
Gun parameters
Nozzle: 2,0÷3,0 mm
Pressure: As recommended by the equipment manufacturer, usually 2,0÷2,5 bar.
Coating thickness
Do not exceed thickness of 200µm for each wet layer.
Do not exceed tota thickness of 600 µm.
Flash off time
Between layers: about 5 minutes
Before baking: about 10 minutes
Flash off time dependes on the temperature and layer thickness.
Drying time
2-3 godziny w 20°C.
25-30 minut w 60°C.
Temperatures below 20°C significantly increase the drying time.
Sanding
Final sanding (dry): P180÷P320.
IR drying
5÷7 min. under short waves, depeding on the total layer thickeness and type of radiator
Do not exceed maximum temperature of 60°C.
Use accordin to the instrusctions of the radiator's manufacturer.
Wait about 5 min. before starting IR drying.
Performance
1 liter of the mixture is enough to paint a surface of about 8 m2 of with a layer of 100 µm.
Further work
Polyester body fillers can over coated with:
- 2K acrylic primers,
- 2K epoxy primers.
General notes
Excessive amounts of hardener may cause problems with bleaching of the topcoat!
While working with 2K products use adequate personal protection equipment. Protect the eyes and air ways.
The rooms should be well ventilated.
Tools should be washed directly after application.
