Ruffle, lifting of a coating

Cause

• Wrong choice of materials (hardeners, thinners)
• Not properly isolated substrate
• Thickening of layers of materials
• Sensitive basis, aggressive thinner

Countermeasure

• Do the thinner test
• Apply epoxy primer on the repair part
• Follow evaporation time
• Follow the Technical Data Sheets (TDS)

Removal

• Remove old coating, isolate and varnish again
