Cause

  •  Aggressive, long lasting tree resin on the surface of the varnish.

Countermeasure

  • Regular maintenance of the lacquer coatings
  • Avoiding parking a vehicle under trees

Removal

  • Sand, insulate and then varnish again
  • You may try to polish according to a manufacturer’s recommendation of the polishing compound
  • Clean with warm water with soap
